N.B.1: Beethoven composed the first three movements of the Hammerklavier sonata 
for a Graf fortepiano, the last movement for a Broadwood. 
Tom Beghin demonstrates the differences by playing the third and fourth movements 
on copies of the respective instruments.

N.B.2: Ries, Kalkbrenner and Cramer were three of the pianists who selected 
the Broadwood which Beethoven was to receive in 1818.
